For 2010 I redesigned Carsonified's Future of Web Design and Future of Web Apps event sites. In a radical departure from the last incarnation of the events sites I created this Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odysseyinspired event site.

Designing Email Newsletters can be difficult. Not many all of the modern web technologies we're used to are available when it comes to newsletter design. Needless to say, this results in some pretty uninspiring newletter designs. Campaign Monitor & MailChimp asked myself and a bunch of other designers to design some newsletter templates for them. The templates shown with MailChimp written on them were for MailChimp and the other two for Campaign Monitor.

Carsonified teamed up with Twitter to produce Chirp, the first official Twitter Developer Conference. The conference was held in San Francisco for developers across the globe. I was lucky enough to get to design the conference website. I basically illustrated the site from top to bottom, which was really fun. I also produced this Chirp t-shirt design for the conference.

In July 2009 I was tasked with redesigning the Carsonified company site. We wanted to convey the personality and passion of the company but also showcase Carsonified's products. I used bold colour scheme and hand drawn illustrations to create this site. It was a great project to work on.

In late 2008 I redesigned the Carsonified "Future of" event sites. I employed a handcrafted style for the site using hand drawn illustrations and distressed bold typography. This design was used across the board for all "Future of" events in 2009. It has now been superseded by the current design.

This was my first ever website. I was in a band called Our Great Adventure with my brother Tony and decided to have a go at building us a website. This was before I learnt HTML & CSS, hence why it's built using tables. I did some fun stuff using animated gifs. Basic technology, but you can still make it do cool things.

Olly Hite asked me to design his debut album sleeve. The design was inspired by a dusty old book of fairytales you might find in your loft. The book texture used on the outer sleeve was created by scanning in a 103 years old copy of The Curiosity Shop by Charles Dickens. I also designed and built Olly's website.
